Always found it funny how people who complain the most about CCP and the EVE client issues still play the game.

if you have such issues with your car, buy a new one. or buy a hybrid or electric.

And why have you always found that funny? Some people care enough to make some noise; others don't and leave. Some, presumably like you, prefer to bend over and take whatever is given to you.
They generally dont complain because they care ;)

I can see why you of all people are hoping it's an entire character over haul :')
The Devs said on their blog that you can redo the character starting with your current portrait. I take that to mean you can completely redo your char but when you go to the creator you will start with what you already have saved.
